Telegram sent to the Speaker of the House of Commons asking for help from Captain Coles, Chairman of the Parish Council. "Archives June 7th 1930", regarding needlework competion. Miss Barbara Preece of St Catharine's, third prize in section 'A', Sylvia Gabb took first prize in section 'B'. Silver cup went to St Catharine's. Cotswold Journal cuttings June 2005
